This study examines what it means to “call upon the name of YHVH” from a Hebraic and Torah-based perspective, showing that the phrase refers to invoking, proclaiming, trusting in, and identifying with the Almighty rather than merely pronouncing the Tetragrammaton. It explores the Hebrew grammar, Masoretic vowel points, manuscript evidence for יְהֹוָה (Yehovah), the traditional qere reading of Adonai, the shortened form Yah, theophoric names, and the history behind the spellings Jehovah and Yehovah. While presenting Yehovah as a serious and plausible pronunciation, the study also emphasizes humility, respect for Jewish tradition, and the importance of not turning personal convictions about the Divine Name into a test of fellowship.
