Guarding our Speech: The Torah of the Tongue
Scripture presents a much broader vision of godly speech than merely avoiding gossip or lashon hara. This study explores the Torah of the tongue—truthful, constructive, restrained, courageous, and compassionate speech that seeks restoration, protects others from harm, and reflects both emet and chesed. Special attention is given to Leviticus 19:16–18 and the responsibility to correct others without incurring sin ourselves in the process.
